A Magic Me project for the Brancroft estate in Bethnal Green, East London. Following community consultation, street artist ATMA came up with the idea of creating a giant bouquet made out of all flowers, plants and vegetables grown by residents on their balconies and in the estate community gardens. These include: Sunflower, Jasmine, Agapanthus, Ibiscus, Chilli, Scotch Bonnet, Morning Glory, and last but not least the Khodu (a marrow equivalent), the pride of the Bangladeshi community. 3 hands representing the estate diversity come together to contribute to the bouquet.
The project was funded by The National Lottery.
